Riviera Maya

Riviera Maya is the name for the part of the Mexican Caribbean coast that lies between Playa del Secreto, south of Cancun, to Punta Allen, in the heart of the Sian KaŽan biosphere reserve.

The area has a wide array of attractions, among them white sand beaches, Mayan ruins, jungle, cenotes, caves and caverns. In the Riviera Maya, it is possible to practice diving, snorkeling or fishing on exceptional coral reefs. The Mayan reef of the Yucatan peninsula is part of the second longest reef barrier in the world.

The mayan site of Tulum, located on a cliff overlooking the Caribbean sea, is among the most fascinating attractions of this area. Deep in the jungle, there are more mysterious and fascinating Mayan vestiges.

The ecological parks of Xcaret and Xel-ha are two of the best known attractions in the Riviera Maya. Diving among colorful fish, swimming in an underwater river or with dolphins is a dream that can come true here in the Riviera Maya.
Cenotes are a unique attraction, typical of this area. These freshwater caves are rich in calcium and carbon. Nothing could be more refreshing than dip in a cool cavern water on a hot summer day.
